4 WTC is the latest completed tower at the new World Trade Center in New York City. Designed by Maki and Associates, the building has a striking modern design. The glass cladding is extremely reflective and provides endless photographic possibilities.

 

When I visited New York City in July, I had the perfect sky with small puffy clouds. 4 WTC seemed to blend in with the sky and vanish. It got me inspired to shoot simple abstract shapes, using the sharp architectural angles.

 

The name of the series refers to the name of the building, but also to the four cardinal points. Each image has the building at one cardinal point.
